  • ONTAP 9.2 to 9.7
  • FabricPool

Answer

  • Latency in qos statistics volume latency show may record in the wrong column due to bug 1290868
  • Instead, it may report as disk latency in the Disk column
  • Use statit to identify how much of latency is due to disk and how much is due to cloud latency

Example: vol1 has almost 32 milliseconds of latency on an AFF-A220 and almost 28 reports as disk, but is really due to FabricPool cold tier, or the Cloud column.
