Issue

  • The volume show-space command indicates a large amount of space used in inodes:
Cluster01::> volume show-space -vserver svm1 -volume vol1

Vserver: svm1
Volume Name: vol1
User Data: 2.75GB
Deduplication: 35.04MB
Filesystem Metadata: 257.3MB
Tape Backup Metadata: 4.05MB
Inodes: 2.41GB
  • A df -i shows few inodes in use:
Cluster01::> df -i vol1
Filesystem        iused      ifree  %iused  Mounted on
/vol/vol1/        98590   31778106      0%  /vol/vol1/
