Applies to

ONTAP 9.10 or later

Description

  • By default, vol move will use any resources available to it
  • In some scenarios, it is desirable to limit the bandwidth consumed by vol move operations
  • ONTAP 9.10 and later add a new -enforce-network-throttling option for vol move
  • Used in conjunction with the replication.throttle.* options, -enforce-network-throttling will apply node-level network throttle to a volume move job
  • The throttle will leave more resources available for other operations using the same resources
