Description

A symbolic link is a file created in a UNIX environment that references or points to another file or directory.

  • This article is intended for clustered Data ONTAP 8.3 and later.
  • The PowerShell commands used are not supported until that release of clustered Data ONTAP.

This article describes the procedure that should be followed to create a symbolic link in Data ONTAP without the need to mount an NFS export.
