Description

Performance archives contain detailed historical performance data that can be used by NetApp Technical Support to analyze cluster performance. The Performance Archive capability is available in Data ONTAP 8.3 or later.

In order to send the Performance Archives to NetApp Support, it is required that AutoSupport transport is set to HTTP/S and that traffic is allowed from/to support.netapp.com from the storage controllers. If these configurations are not possible OneCollect provides a method for collecting and uploading this data to NetApp Support
