Issue

  • One controller offline triggers a core dump.
  • The Panic Reason is  rebootReason 0x42e8001, rebootReasonExtra 0x0.
  • Before the controller core dump, there are many out of memory errors in the Web Services Proxy logs:

 WARN [jetty-906009] c.n.e.a.r.s.VolumeMappingImpl [SanModelExceptionHandler.java:42] [requestId=cd4f09c3-f59c-4856-bd4e-a868ed635cf7, deviceId=3d3b3bef-d28b-481c-9c15-7a98e2dbe934] Exception caught: com.ni.eseries.aa.devicemgt.model.exceptions.SanModelException: An out of memory error occurred on one of the controllers in the storage array. Contact your Technical Support Representative about the memory requirements for this storage array.
