SnapMirror Update gets stuck and never completes

  • Source volumes of all the impacted SnapMirror relationships reside in the same node

Issue

  • From some point, part of SnapMirror relationship update (including Scheduled Update) fails with error "Scheduled update was delayed because another SnapMirror operation for the relationship is in progress"
  • snapmirror show indicates the Relationship Status as Transferring but with no progress even extended time elapses.
