Failed to delete clone in SnapCenter

Issue

  • Clone deletion fails when attempting to remove a clone in SC GUI or via PowerShell with the command Remove-SmClone
  • No backups are associated with the clone
  • Error seen in <installation_path>\NetApp\SnapCenter\App_Data\log\SnapManagerWeb_<id>.log:
    DEBUG SnapManagerWeb_1140 PID=[4124] TID=[146] Clone object id
    DEBUG SnapManagerWeb_1140 PID=[4124] TID=[146] Checking id
    DEBUG SnapManagerWeb_1140 PID=[4124] TID=[146] Continuing with operation, can not query any clone of clone
    DEBUG SnapManagerWeb_1140 PID=[4124] TID=[146] Clone resource <clone_name> have backups associated with it
    SnapManagerWeb_1140 PID=[4124] TID=[146] Delete clone failed. Backups are associated with the resources '<clone_name>'. Remove the backups and retry the operation.
