Issue

  • FC-VI adapter is flapping and is reporting errors in the EMS logs:
    ClusterA::> fcvi.qlgc.rmt.link.down: FC-VI adapter link to partner node over port 1a is down
    ClusterA::> fcvi.qlgc.rmt.link.down: FC-VI adapter link to partner node over port 1a is down
    ClusterA::> fcvi.qlgc.rmt.link.up: FC-VI adapter link to partner node over port 1a is up
    ClusterA::> fcvi.qlgc.rmt.link.down: FC-VI adapter link to partner node over port 1a is down
  • Loss of signal and link failure errors reported in porterrshow output on the brocade backend switch on the ISL port(s):
