ONTAP System Manager 9.8 and later

Answer

  • System Manager in ONTAP 9.8 and later does not provide the ability to change the maximum transmission unit (MTU) size for a network port
  • Run the following CLI command to modify the MTU for a network port.
Note: The port's MTU is determined by its broadcast domain. Changing the MTU value will affect all ports in the broadcast domain:

network port broadcast-domain modify -ipspace <IPspace> -broadcast-domain <broadcast-domain> -mtu <new_value>
