Remote user part of remote group is unable to login to AIQUM server

Issue

  • Remote user member of a Remote group is unable to login to AIQUM with error -

"Sign In Failed. Please verify Username and Password"

 

  • Remote user shows "user lookup" and "authetication" succeeded, whereas the group which the user is a member of shows empty string

  • Error observed in AIQUM logs-

    2022-01-22 21:03:48,460 ERROR [umadmin] [default task-3319] [service.logging.SimpleRemoteLoggingService|logOnServer] [c.n.d.w.c.s.l.LdapServersPagePresenter] User or group '<domain>\<username>' not found in the authentication server. Either the user or group does not exist or it could not be found using the current authentication settings.

    Jan 22 22:06:53 [:NOTIC]::WEB:err:[IP_Address]::Authentication failed for user1 [org.springframework.security.web.authentication.WebAuthenticationDetails@7798: RemoteIpAddress:<>; SessionId: null]: org.springframework.security.authentication.BadCredentialsException: Authenticating token for ldap user not successful.
