Cloud Manager (CM) 3.9.6+ (docker-based)

Description

  • In situations where a proxy or firewall is inspecting Cloud Manager secure traffic, the network device may be replacing endpoint certificates with its own.
  • In this scenario, if the root CA certificate is not trusted, SSL-encrypted traffic to endpoints will fail with PKIX and SSLException errors.
  • The root CA certificate will need to be imported into the user.truststore in order for Cloud Manager's certificate validation checks to succeed.
  • This procedure outlines the steps for importing the certificate.
