Cloud Manager timeline shows "License already exists"

Issue

  • When removing a working environment and then re-adding the existing extra capacity licenses (BYOL) again to a new working environment, Cloud Manager does not put the extra capacity licenses into effect.
  • Within the failed Upload Extra Capacity Serials action, the Cloud Manager Timeline will also show a license already exists error message.
  • This error is also reported when a user attempts to apply a BYOL license associated with a different serial number than the existing CVO node's serial number. In this scenario the license is not an extra capacity license.

  • Alternatively, we may also see the below error in timeline, when we try to deploy a CVO using the license from the deleted Cloud Volumes ONTAP.

"Serial Number '9082013000000000XXXX' is already used by Cloud Volumes ONTAP VsaWorkingEnvironment-ABCDEFGH"
