SliceEvents occur on Element Cluster occurs when algorythms that constantly monitor the Cluster, detects that slice data can be placed somewhere else for performance or availability improvements.

There are three main events that can occur under SliceEvents:

  • FlippingVolumes: Promoting the secondary slice to primary slice
  • MovingVolumes: Moving the slices to another node(s)
  • PruningVolumes: Internal cleanup process
