Issue

  • Alerts in NetApp SolidFire Active IQ:
    • Error Code: remoteRepAsyncDelayExceeded
      • Details: Replicating volume pairs have an Async Delay greater than 360 minutes. Delayed volume pairs:[<source_volume_ID>:<remote_volume_ID>]
    • Error Code: disconnectedRemoteNode
      • Details: Remote nodes are not connected via the cluster network. Ping the remote nodes using jumbo frames to test connectivity. Disconnected nodes: [**]
    • Error Code: disconnectedClusterPair
      • Details: One of the clusters in a pair may have become misconfigured or disconnected. Remove the local pairing and retry pairing the clusters. Disconnected Cluster Pairs: [*]. Misconfigured Cluster Pairs: []
  • Events in NetApp SolidFire Active IQ:
    • Type: sliceEvent
      • Message: Volume pairing is Paused. Received timeout. New State = PausedDisconnected. Previous Active Branch State = PausedClusterFull. Previous Snapshot Branch State = PausedClusterFull.
    • Type: sliceEvent
      • Message: Volume pairing is Paused. Received timeout. New State = PausedDisconnected. Previous Active Branch State = Active. Previous Snapshot Branch State = Idle.
  • In some cases you will see the replication volumes showing as PausedDisconnected
