Temporary timeout errors are occurring in the AutoSupport OnDemand Server (AODS)

Issue

  • In the EMS logs, the following errors are temporarily occurring from all nodes:

Mon May 15 23:58:33 +0900 [<node name>: notifyd: asup.aods.response.timeOut:error]: AutoSupport OnDemand Server (AODS) response was not received before the 30 second time limit.
Tue May 16 00:32:57 +0900 [<node name>: notifyd: asup.aods.response.timeOut:error]: AutoSupport OnDemand Server (AODS) response was not received before the 30 second time limit.

  • When checking the status using the command, timeout errors may be found in the proxy.

Status: failed
Detail: AutoSupport OnDemand connectivity check failed for destination: https://support.netapp.com/aods/asupmessage via proxy - <proxy name>. Error: Timeout was reached when connecting to the server - 'support.netapp.com'
Corrective Action: Possible network configuration issue. Ensure that you have network connectivity Node: <node name>
