NetApp SMI-S Provider fails to add Cluster with comMechanism error

  • When attempting to add a Cluster, you receive the following error message:

C:\Program Files (x86)\NetApp\smis\pegasus\bin>smis addsecure Domain\user
Enter password: **********

Failed to add

cimcli CIMException:  Cmd= ci Object= ONTAP_FilerData Code= 1
CIM_ERR_FAILED: Filer return: HTTP POST - URL not found - With storage system
'comMechanism' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
