No.

After converting a Flexvol to a FlexGroup and adding new member volumes, the FlexGroup should automatically be placing most new content onto the new member volumes. And if the original volume was very close to full, the FlexGroup should be placing very little new content on it at all. There should be no need for an explicit setting to force this behavior.
