Attempting to clone a volume fails with "The snapshot name does not exist" when the parent snapshot does exist

Issue

Attempting to clone a volume through any means fails, and throws the error:

"The snapshot name does not exist"

The selected parent snapshot definitely exists and is returned when querying for snapshots. Attempting the clone again shortly after works as expected.
