"statistics volume show" fails with "Error: command failed: More than 50 samples are not allowed"

Issue

  • When running the statistics volume show command, an error More than 50 samples are not allowed is reported.

Example:

::> statistics volume show -interval 5 -iterations 48            Error: command failed: More than 50 samples are not allowed. Please delete existing sample(s) to create a new sample.

  • There are samples that can be seen in the output of debug smdb table perf_sample show, but  statistics samples show is empty.

Example:

::*> debug smdb table perf_sample show
50 entries were displayed.

::*> statistics samples show
This table is currently empty.

  • MGWD log reports below deleting error.

Example:

ERR: perf::cm_statistics_views: Error while deleting sample for sample-id: statistics_view_sample_id 
reason: not authorized for that command
