Issue

  • System health alerts show FC-VI and storage adapter ports as down on MetroCluster nodes
  • Autosupports triggered titled  InterconnectAdapterOfflineAlert and StorageFCAdapterFault_Alert

 

  • sysconfig -a output on the cluster will show both FCVI & FC Host Adapter(s) as offline
    Example:
  • slot 1: FCVI Host Adapter 1b (QLogic 8324(2672) rev. 2, unknown)
    Physical link: DOWN
  • slot 2: FC Host Adapter 2b (Emulex XE201 rev. 48, <OFFLINE (hard)>)
