Answer

  • Shelf like DS212C or DS2246 raises the following ASUP alerts when PSU failure.

Example:

(SHLEF POWER INTERRUPTED) ERROR
(SHELF_FAULT) ERROR

 

  • Node like FAS8200 or FAS6XXX and FAS3XXX raises the following ASUP alerts when PSU failure.

Example:

(CHASSIS POWER SUPPLY OFF:PS1) ERROR
(CHASSIS POWER SUPPLY DEGRADED:PS1)ERROR

  • Node like FAS2XXX has onboard IOM and internal shelf, so it raises the following ASUP alerts when PSU failure.

Example:

(SHLEF POWER INTERRUPTED) ERROR
(SHELF_FAULT) ERROR
(CHASSIS POWER DEGRADED:Power Supply Status Critical:PSU1) ERROR
