  • Cluster of mixed platform models including FAS8300, FAS8700, AFF-A400
  • FAS8200

Issue

  • FAS8300, FAS8700, or AFF-A400 node reporting the following alert in EMS logs
[Clus-01: servprocd: splog.failed.to.transfer.log:notice]: Failed to transfer log from Service Processor (SP) on the remote node (Clus-07) because of Error occurred while transferring file..
  • Cluster consisting of mixed platforms with FAS8300, FAS8700, AFF-A400
  • Cluster has node currently down, or recently offline
  • SP-MGMT-MLOG-TXT.GZ show similar errors to the following:
