Issue

  • Source cluster volumes in Snapmirror Synchronous (SM-S) relationships running out of space impacting critical business applications.
  • Investigation shows SM-S snapshots backlogging on the source volumes consuming excessive space.
  • Coincidentally these snapshots dates coincide with the date where the destination cluster was upgraded to 9.9.1, Source is runnning ONTAP 9.6.
