SVM DR update failed; Reason: Failed to delete ruleset

Issue

  • After deleted qtree and its export policy on source SVM, snapmirror updates failed with error messages:

Failed to apply the source Vserver configuration. Reason: Apply failed for Object: export_ruleset_ui_table Method: baseline. Reason: Failed to delete ruleset: This operation is not permitted on a Vserver that is configured as the destination for identity preserve Vserver DR.Execute "snapmirror show -destination-vserver DR_SVM -fields last-transfer-error,unhealthy-reason -expand" to check if the constituent volumes have encountered errors.

  • Then, run snapmirror show command like the below:

::> snapmirror show -destination-vserver DR_SVM -fields last-transfer-error,unhealthy-reason -expand
