  • SnapMirror
  • SVM Disaster Recovery (SVM DR)

Answer

  • With Type-XDP SVM DR, during the intial baseline and any new (volume) baselines thereafter, the destination will inherit all source-side percent-snapshot-space values
    • Subsequent changes to the source volume percent-snapshot-space values will not be replicated to the destination and require manual modification, if desired
  • With Type-DP SVM DR, all source-side volume changes will always be replicated to destination whether during initialization or subsequent updates
