Issue

  • A NDMP connection fails during an initial setup for a 3-way, Vserver scope NDMP backup with Commvault while modifying the port range.
  • The following error has been identified:
DMA:
Error Code: [39:424]Description: Client     [10.44.255.11] was unable to connect to the tape server [auldc000mb0005p] on port [42857]. Please check network connectivity.Source: auldc000mb0005p, Process: NasBackup
 
Storage:
Error: command failed: Modification of data port range for data Vserver "svm2" (Vserver ID: 3) is not supported.
