XCP Listen fails with Error in database connection

Issue

  • When trying to setup to listen for File Analytics on Windows Server, you get the following error:
C:\XCP> xcp.exe listen
XCP SMB 1.6.2; (c) 2020 NetApp, Inc.; Licensed to NetApp  until Mon Dec 21 12:40:55 2020
Error
Error in database connection. Please make sure the IP address and password used in configuring File Analytics on Windows is correct and postgres service is running on the configured Linux machine. To re-configure the Windows machine, use "xcp configure" command
