Answer

  • Earlier versions of the XCP Migration Tool do not support parameters to exclude certain directories.
    • Version 1.6.2 now has the option to use the -exclude filter to exclude files and/or folders is available (for NFS only).
    • XCP 1.6.3 now supports the -exclude filter for SMB
