export-policy check-access indicates a different level of mount access than is actually supplied during mount

Last Updated:

Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • Multi-homed clients
  • Clients accessing NFS via a path employing Network Address Translation (commonly a hypervisor not configured to bridge traffic, or stateful firewall)

The provided mount-level access for a client differs from the expected mount-level access based on the source IP address which the client is using for the NFS traffic.
