Windows CIFS share that maps the same account access allowed while NFS access denied

Issue

  • A user is attempting to access files on a Unix security style volume via NFS but is getting access denied, which is expected. However, when the user accesses the same files through a CIFS share, the same mapped user has access to the files.
  • Collect the output of the folder

cluster1::> cifs share show -vserver svm1 -share-name share1
