The ifstat command displays thousands of errors in an ifgrp

Issue

  • An ifgrp reports vifmgr.cluscheck.hwerror:

Tue Sep 20 05:42:42 +0900 [nodename01: vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.hwerrors:alert]: Port a0a on node nodename01 is reporting a high number (at least 1 per 1000 packets) of observed hardware errors (CRC, length, alignment, dropped).
Tue Sep 20 05:42:42 +0900 [nodename01: vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.hwerrors:alert]: Port a0a-1690 on node nodename01 is reporting a high number (at least 1 per 1000 packets) of observed hardware errors (CRC, length, alignment, dropped).
Tue Sep 20 05:42:42 +0900 [nodename01: vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.hwerrors:alert]: Port a0a-1624 on node nodename01 is reporting a high number (at least 1 per 1000 packets) of observed hardware errors (CRC, length, alignment, dropped).

  • The ifstat command displays thousands of errors in an ifgrp, but does not display the type of error
  • The output of ifgrp show will display transmit total errors:
