Issue

  • NFS operation on NTFS volume fails with below error
rmdir test_drir2
Error message:rmdir: failed to remove 'test_drir2': Remote I/O error
rm -rf test_drir2
rm: cannot remove 'test_drir2': Remote I/O error
mv test_drir2 test_drir3
mv: cannot move 'test_drir2' to 'test_drir3': Remote I/O error
  • Auditing is enabled on vserver to audit file operations.
  • SACL is configured on volume path to audit deletion events.
  • EMS:
[node1: wafl_exempt09: wafl.vol.full:alert]: Insufficient space on volume vol_audit@vserver:xxxxx_xxxx_xxxx to perform operation. 12.0KB was requested but only 1.00KB was available.
