LDAP lookup operation fails if any field of user account info contains ':' (colon) character

Issue

  • If there is ':' (colon) character in any field of LDAP user account info (for example, gecos, userPassword, etc), the lookup operation will fail for that user.
  • "diag secd authentication translate" will end with the following error.

Example:

    Error: command failed: Failed to resolve user name to a UNIX ID. Reason: "SecD Error: object not found".

  • "vserver services name-service getxxbyyy getpwbyname" will end  with the following error.

Example:

Error: command failed: Failed to resolve <user name>. Reason: Entry not found for "username: <user name>".
