  • Offloaded Data Transfer (ODX)

Answer

  • If the ODX requirements are met, the packet will not flow to the Network because it will be offloaded to the storage side.
  • If the ODX requirements are not met, traffic will flow over the network due to the features of the "Previous Versions" tab of the windows client used during the data restore and the characteristics of the SMB protocol used at that time.
