CIFS GPO update Failed to get Registry settings

Issue

GPO update fails with the reason "Cmd failed" similar to the example below:

Sun Apr 01 12:34:56 EDT [CLUSTER01-01: mgwd: gpo.job.mainUpdateFailed:error]: GPO Main Update job (abcdefgh-abcd-abcd-abcd-abcdefghjklm) run failed for Vserver CIFS1, reason: Fetch failed: Failed to get Registry settings of GPO 12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012: Failed to get the registry file \\domain.com\SysVol\domain.com\Policies\{12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012}\Machine\Registry.pol for Vserver CIFS1, Reason: Cmd failed.
