Unable to unjoin a node as it's in in failover configuration and its partner has been removed

Issue

  • After unjoining a node from the cluster, its partner node cannot be unjoined as it's in a takeover state.
  • Trying to remove the node provides the following job failure:

Job failed: Removing a node only works for nodes not in failover configuration. Node cluster-04 is SFO enabled with partner node cluster-03
