Issue

  • SNMP traffic sent from ONTAP cluster shows agent-addr or 'from' IP as the Intercluster LIF (ICL) IP-address, not the management LIF IP-address(es).
  • To determine if you are encountering this issue, verify if the intercluster LIF being selected for the IP-address of SNMP traffic has a lower LIF-ID than the management LIFs.
