Issue

  • Recovery Guru reports multiple critical events which reside on a particular drawer. For example, drawer degraded:

Failure Entry 15: DRAWER_DEGRADED-Recovery Failure Type Code: 393
Storage array: array1
Component reporting problem: Drawer 1
Status: Degraded
Location: Drive tray 2
Component requiring service: Drawer 1
Service action (removal) allowed: No Service action LED on component: No

  • SAS port failed or degraded:

Failure Entry 1: SAS_PORT_FAILED-Recovery Failure Type Code: 113
Storage array: array1
Port reporting problem:
Drive tray 2, ESM: B (Bottom), Channel 2, Internal connection
Status: SAS Port Failed

Failure Entry 15: SAS_PORT_DEGRADED-Recovery Failure Type Code: 112
Storage array: array2
Port reporting problem:
Drive tray 1, Drawer 1, Channel 2, Internal connection
Status: SAS Port Degraded

  • Loss of Path Redundancy for multiple drives on the particular drawer:
