  • There is no rollback or back-out plan for E-Series controller firmware upgrades
  • Firmware upgrade failures are extremely rare 
  • In the event an E-Series controller firmware upgrade fails the status of the storage array would have to be evaluated before any action plan could be provided.
  • Support should be contacted if an upgrade failure occurs
