System Manager GUI displays FC host ports' names as -1 on E2800 controller

Issue

  • Port name on web UI shows -1 for FC host ports of E2800 controller intermittently:
  • On System Manager, select Hardware > Show back of shelf;
  • Click Controller A/B > View settings;
  • Click Host Interfaces tab, the name show -1 instead of 0a, 0b etc for all FC host ports.

  • The issue is not persistent. It may emerge suddenly and disappear after a period of time (10 minutes or so).
  • Functions of FC ports are not impacted.
