Why does Block Capacity and Provisioned Space have the same value in the Cluster UI?

Answer

  • Certain data cannot be compressed or deduplication applied thus storage efficiencies cannot be applied which will leave Provisioned Space at a higher value
  • You can check the amount of efficiencies being applied iin Reporting -> Overview -> Cluster Efficiency in the Cluster UI
