SolidFire cluster not reporting alert due to AIQ system issue

Applies to

  • NetApp SolidFire / HCI Clusters
  • ElementOS 12.7.0.380 (and potentially other versions)
  • Active IQ (AIQ) Monitoring
  • ElementOS Management Node

Issue

  • One or more SolidFire/ElementOS clusters displayed persistent alerts in Active IQ stating:

SFCNRW: SolidFire Alert from <clustername>-cluster(ClusterNotReporting) Cluster has not reported to ActiveIQ in over 30 minutes

  • All clusters are healthy and able to communicate with NetApp support endpoints.
  • The SolidFire Management Node (mNode) connectivity and firewall checks passed.
  • Alerts persisted in AIQ even after collector service restarts and successful connectivity tests.
