  • NetApp HCI
  • NetApp Deployment Engine (NDE)
  • Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU)

Answer

Yes

Additional Information

The MTU size setting on all HCI nodes can be changed to the default 1500 value after NetApp Deployment Engine (NDE) has completed deploying the system, however, it is not supported by NDE itself.

If the MTU size setting were to be changed to 1500, NDE's EasyScale utility would not be able to add new compute or storage nodes to existing VMware ESXi or NetApp Element Software clusters.
