Is it allowed to change the password for m-node root account?

Answer

Root access methods are as follows depending on the Element OS version, there is no option to change the root password for a mNode.
  • If mnode version is 12.5 or later, root user is disabled. the customer need to use sudo command.
  • If mnode version is 12.4 or earlier, the customer can become root with sudo su -.
