Description

This article explains the procedure to shut down an Element storage node for maintenance using HealthTools (specifically, the sfinstall CLI tool on the Management Node (mNode)).

Note: In Element versions 12.2 and above, the same can be accomplished directly via API methods as documented in How to use Maintenance Mode in Element Software.
