Unable to add more than 16TB as add-on capacity in Select Deploy

  • ONTAP Select 9.5
  • Select Deploy 2.11.4

Issue

  • An initial storage pool of 50TB was created from Deploy for the Select cluster.
  • However, when trying to add an additional 50TB, the following error is displayed:
NodeAddDiskFailed: Adding
data disks to node "SelectNode-01" failed. Reason: <size> invalid - Requested size is more than maximum supported disk size
(16525557MB) on this datastore 'theDataStore'.
