ONTAP Deploy: Backup restore fails with error "Connection refused"

Issue

  • ONTAP Deploy backup restore command fails with the following error:

(ONTAPdeploy) deploy backup restore -filename backup.tar.gz
Enter password to decrypt backup file:
The job for "deploy backup restore" has been submitted with request-id 12. To monitor its progress, use the command "job monitor -request-id 12".
(ONTAPdeploy) job monitor -request-id 12
[Request 12 (failure)]: Job failed with error. <SDOTAdminError(key="ErrorRestoringLicenseManagerConfig", message="Error restoring License Manager config. Reason: HTTPConnectionPool(host='localhost', port=15224): Max retries exceeded with url: /api/v1/restore (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0x7f62acf44898>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused')).")>
(ONTAPdeploy)

  • In the Deploy lm_service.log file, you see errors like the below:

Mar  8 09:11:33 ONTAPdeploy license-manager[526]: socket.gaierror: [Errno -5] No address associated with hostname
