Disk count of first plex show different number with second plex when simulate adding disks to an existing mirrored aggregate
Applies to
ONTAP 9.x
Issue
When performing the command "storage aggregate add-disks -aggregate -simulate
" to add disks to an existing mirrored aggregate, disk count of the first plex show different numbers with the second plex.
Example:
The below command is adding 11 disks to an existing aggregate "aggr_ssd" :
Cluster::> storage aggregate add-disks -aggregate aggr_ssd -disklist 1.31.12,1.31.13,1.31.14,1.31.15,1.31.16,1.31.17,1.31.18,1.31.19,1.31.20,1.31.21,1.31.22 -raidgroup rg0 -mirror-disklist 4.21.12,4.21.13,4.21.14,4.21.15,4.21.16,4.21.17,4.21.18,4.21.19,4.21.20,4.21.21,4.21.22 -simulate
Disks would be added to aggregate "aggr_ssd" on node "Cluster_node1" in the following manner:
