Should unmirrored aggregates in a fabric attached MetroCluster be local?
Applies to
- MetroCluster
- Fabric attached
- Unmirrored aggregates
Answer
Using unmirrored aggregates in fabric attached MetroCluster system, all disks from this aggregate should be local to the node owning the aggregate but attached through the fabric and visible to all nodes in the MetroCluster.
Verify which disks are not local to the system by executing the 'disk show -aggregate <aggregate> -fields is-local-attach' command.
siteA::> disk show -aggregate <aggregate> -fields is-local-attach
disk is-local-attach
